Infectious Diseases
Infectious diseases are disorders caused by organisms- such as bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites.
Some infectious diseases can be passed from one to another. Some are transmited by bites from insects or animals and others by eating food in bad ways.
Each infectious disease has its own specefic symptons.
General symptons common to a number of infections desease include:
-Feber
-Fatigue
-Diarrea
-Hepatitis A: highly contagious leve diseased.
-Hepatitis B: most common infectious disease in the world today. Inflamation of thee liver.
-Hepatitis C: less common, less severe. Symptomatic, people develop chronic infection.
-Influenza: less of a public health treated, serious disease. It attacks the human respiratory tract.
-Malaria: moquito-borne disease. Tropital and subtropicalclimates.
-Tuberculosis: found in the lungs.
HIV stands for human immunod eficiency virus (can lead to the disease AIDS). Once ypu have it for life (HIV).
TREATMENT
-Anti-parasitics: there are drugs treta parasites, but some parasites developed resistance to the drugs.
